It is midterm week. There are no classes to attend, just exams to monitor. Nothing portrays the futility of our "education" process more vividly than our obsession with tests and evaluation.
It takes the better part of a week, and sometimes a month, to devise a testing instrument for the midterm. With over 300 tests to check, I take care to design a test that is easy to grade. We, teachers, with our own infinite wisdom, teach and cultivate students. As one of our teachers' teaching methods, quizzing always plays an important role on teaching. (VOA News) Drew Gilpin Faust is prestigious university's 28th president Harvard University is arguably one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1636, it is among the oldest in the United States.
